Brett Schachterle is originally from Washington State. He attended Brigham Young University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. With a desire to further his education, he relocated to Glendale, Arizona, to attend Midwestern University, where he earned a Master of Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies.
Brett has experience working in both ENT and family medicine. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, he held positions in geriatrics and oncology, and contributed to research in immunology and infectious diseases. These diverse clinical and research experiences shaped his comprehensive, patient-centered approach to care.
Brett is committed to treating each patient as an individual by actively listening to their concerns and goals and involving them in shared decision-making. He emphasizes evidence-based medicine and established clinical guidelines while also considering each patient’s unique circumstances and values. He strongly believes in preventive medicine and in empowering patients to make informed, healthy choices that can help prevent illness before it arises. His goal is to help patients achieve their personal health objectives and live their healthiest, most fulfilling lives by providing them with the knowledge, education, and tools needed for success.
In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time outdoors and being with friends and family.
