Mark Schlotterback
Dr. Mark Schlotterback is a board-certified family physician with more than three decades of experience in clinical practice. He draws on a deep well of knowledge gained from years of patient care, using both evidence-based medicine and insights from past patient interactions to guide his approach. He is committed to ensuring each patient feels confident, informed, and comfortable, with treatment plans that meet the highest standards of care.
Originally from a small town in Kansas, Dr. Schlotterback comes from a long line of physicians, beginning with his father, a primary care doctor. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center and went on to complete his residency at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. Shortly thereafter, he joined Gilbert Center for Family Medicine, where he has devoted his career to serving the community.
Dr. Schlotterback’s children, Lexi and Luke, live out of state, and he values every opportunity to spend time with them. An avid athlete, he completed the Ironman race in 2008—one of many personal accomplishments. In his free time, he enjoys working on cars and rebuilding just about anything.
