Position Overview
Physicians at GCFM are vital members of the care team who work both independently and in collaboration with fellow physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Primary Care Physician with a minimum of two years' experience in a primary care setting to join our well-established, high-performing team.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel
- Work collaboratively with APPs, clinical staff, and administrative team
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Make appropriate referrals beyond the scope of primary care
- Participate in quality improvement, mentorship, and team development
- Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Arizona medical license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Current federal DEA certificate to prescribe controlled substances
- Minimum 2 years of physician experience in a primary care setting
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in an electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Demonstrated leadership, teaching, and quality improvement experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
- Ability to adapt effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
